Eurochoir 2020

EuroChoir is a choir project to promote the networking of talented young singers at an international level, and to foster the emergence of the next generation of talents. Organised by the European Choral Association every year in a different country, it offers the opportunity to young singers to get together for eight days to rehearse a challenging programme with renowned conductors, improve their vocal skills and present the results of their work in public concerts.

EuroChoir 2020 takes place in Ireland, based at the University of Limerick, so an easy journey for UK singers. Performance venues include Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin and St Mary's Cathedral, Limerick. The project will be led by the award-winning Israeli conductor Yuval Weinberg.

Applications need to be made by 20 May and can be done digitally. Singers need to be good sight-readers, willing to prepare scores in advance, and aged between 18 and 30.
