Did you enjoy Bob Chilcott's workshop on his Requiem at Convention 2011? Or perhaps with your choir since?: Did you enjoy Bob Chilcott's workshop on his Requiem at Convention 2011? Or perhaps with your choir since? Since its world première just two years ago, Bob Chilcott's Requiem has received more than 50 performances in at least 12 different countries including the UK and USA, Hong Kong, Spain, France, and the Netherlands. On Monday 26 March the much-anticipated first recording is released on Hyperion, performed by the Choir of Wells Cathedral and members of The Nash Ensemble, conducted by Matthew Owens, with Laurie Ashworth (soprano), Andrew Staples (tenor), and Jonathan Vaughn (organ). There will also be a concert in Wells Cathedral on Saturday 5th May.
