Radcliffe on Trent Male voice Choir are seeking a new Musical Director. We were formed in 1983 and have about 50 members drawn from around Nottinghamshire . Our accompanist is the internationally renowned Eleonora Babitsky who has been with the choir for over 20 years. We rehearse on a Thursday night in the Methodist Church Radcliffe on Trent and for this appointment there would need a commitment to direct 45 rehearsals and deliver around 12 public concerts(mostly at weekends) and to participate in 1 tour with the choir in any one year. We perform pieces from our extensive repertoire without Music copy.
The Choir is a Registered Charity and is managed by an experienced, competent and active committee of Trustees.
We are seeking a person with the talent and skill to further develop our standard of singing and choral performances.
We would hope that S/He would be in post by 1st of September or when the "Lockdown" restrictions are lifted.
