New Choral Repertoire for everyone

Saturday 20th May 2023

St Mary le Strand Church, Strand, London WC2R 1ES

10am to 4.30pm

Unfortunately this event has been cancelled. If you'd like to receive details of more repertoire events in the future, please get in touch with us.

Join us in central London for the first of a new series of repertoire days for everyone, in collaboration with our member publishers. Discover new repertoire, rediscover forgotten favourites and plan your concert programmes - and meet with fellow choral leaders.

This first pilot day will be with publishers Boosey and Hawkes, Hal Leonard Europe, Oxford University Press and Schott Music, when you'll have the opportunity to sing through and listen to a wide and diverse range of repertoire led by presenters including Jeremy Haneman. The music will be available to view and follow online, with links to find out more and buy sets for your choir.

The day will be divided into topic-based sessions, so whether you're planning ahead for Christmas, need inspiration when you've not enough rehearsal time, or want to put on a major work but don't have the budget or space, then come and enjoy a day of exploration. Our topics for the day are:

This is a day for everyone involved in choirs: it's for conductors looking for new repertoire, for their committee members who want to know more about what to programme, and for singers who would like to enjoy a day of singing and discovering new repertoire. If you've attended our Annual Convention and enjoyed the repertoire sessions, this is a great opportunity to discover more music for your choir and spend more time immersing yourself in it.

Future days in the series will take place in different locations with more of our member publishers, so watch out for further dates.
